PLEAWA Constitution - current (2018)
The Political and Legal Educators Association of Western Australia (Incorporated) last completed some constitutional changes at our 2017 Annual General Meeting. The constitution has effect from 19 December 2017 (as advised by Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, Consumer Protection).
Proposed changes to the PLEAWA Constitution - future
In the future it may be necessary for the Committee of Management to propose amending the Constitution due to:
- new requirements as a result of the new Associations Incorporations Act 2015 and
- to meet the needs of our association - PLEAWA
All proposals to change the Constitution require passage by special resolution as a General Meeting or Annual General Meeting.
