Twilight Seminar: The Constitution Amendment (Recognition of Aboriginal People) Act 2015 (WA) – its Passage, its Significance and its Implications

This seminar will explore the passage of the Constitution Amendment (Recognition of Aboriginal People) Act 2015 (WA), which amended the preamble of the Constitution Act 1889 (WA) to recognise Aboriginal people as the First People of Western Australia and traditional custodians of the land, together with the importance and potential consequences of this highly significant constitutional change.
