PLEAWA AGM - 17th November 2017

PLEAWA is pleased to announce the details for our upcoming AGM on Friday 17th Novemberat the School of Isolated and Distance Education in Leederville.

Refreshments will be available from 4.45pm with formalities commencing at 5.15pm. Our guest speaker this year is Senator Patrick Dodson who is taking time out of his busy schedule to address us on the issue of the recognition of indigenous people in the Constitution.  The AGM will commence at the conclusion of our guest speaker. There are some important changes to the PLEAWA Constitution that we would encourage you to read prior to the meeting.

Another important item on the agenda will be the election of representatives to the PLEAWA Committee. Members are encouraged to consider nominating for a position on the committee. Members may nominate up to and including on the evening of the AGM. At the conclusion of the formalities, members are invited to come along for a meal at Duende (menu attached). Duende-Menu.pdf (487.8 KB) We will order a vast selection of dishes to cater for all - including vegetarian and gluten free.

The cost of the meal for members has been subsidise; however, due to the need to make a booking in advance it is important that we have exact numbers. For this reason we are asking for members to pay the $25 for their meal no later than Friday 3rd November.
