Year 11-12 Politics and Law Teacher Professional Learning Day



The Law Society’s Francis Burt Law Education Programme provides Year 11-12 Politics and Law programmes and resources mapped to the ATAR and General Course syllabuses.

This professional learning day will address some of the challenging Year 11-12 Politics and Law syllabus items with stakeholders sharing their professional knowledge and experience through 45 min presentations that will include opportunities for Q&A. A panel discussion will round out the day.

The Sir Ronald Wilson Lecture is a fabulous opportunity for your PALs students to engage in contemporary issues in the law. This marks a change in format for the Sir Ronald Wilson Lecture with the goal of making this event more dynamic and interactive in the form of a panel discussion. The focus of the event on Year 11-12 Politics and Law ATAR Courses and syllabus items of relevance remains unchanged.

Join our Federal Election Curtin Corner as a panel of experts on Australian politics discuss the campaign, the policies, the seats to watch, the Senate, the role of minor parties and independents, the rise and implications of early voting, as well as making their predictions for the 2019 election.

FBLEP Secures Funding

In case you haven't heard...

FBLEP have secured monies from the Public Purposes Trust (PPT) to ensure the on-going delivery of the Francis Burt Law Education Programme and the Mock Trial Competition from 2019/20 to 2021/22.

PLEAWA is pleased that the great work of FBLEP is able to continue for the near future. Please continue to support the work of this excellent programme by continuing to visit the Education Centre and being involved in the Mock Trial Competition.
