UNAAWA: Insiders' Guide to the United Nations

Are you interested in the work of the UN, international diplomacy or foreign affairs? United Nation's Association of Australia, Western Australia (UNAAWA) welcomes you to an evening of stories from extraordinary speakers who will lend insight into the UN and its work.

Speakers include:

  • Anna George (former Australian Ambassador and multilateral negotiator)
  • Katherine Willcox, Deputy Director, WA State Office, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
  • Detective Superintendent Michael McTiernan, Intelligence, Specialist Operations Perth, Australian Federal Police
  • Renata Sivacolundhu (former Emergency Communications & Advocacy Consultant with UN, Myanmar)
  • Sofia Kouznetsova, UNAAWA Human Rights Committee

When: Wednesday, 7 September, 2016. Arrive at 5.30pm for refreshments with a 6pm start

Where: Jull Common Room, St Catherine’s College, Park Rd, UWA (directly opposite main campus)
