PLEAWA Annual General Meeting 2026

The Annual General Meeting of the Political and Legal Educators Association of Western Australia

Members are invited to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and reflect of the 2026 ATAR Politics and Law examination.

We will also hear from Varun Ghosh, Senator for Western Australia, who will share insights into the contemporary Commonwealth Parliament, including the practical realities of the legislative process and political representation.

Refreshments will be available on arrival at the AGM and following the AGM. Members are encouraged to stay after the meeting to socialise. Please register your attendance for seating and catering purposes.

Nominations for the PLEAWA Committee

• All positions on the PLEAWA Committee will be declared vacant at the AGM on 31 October 2025.
• Members are encouraged to consider taking on one of the roles that are vital for the continuation of the Association.
• Should you have an interest in filling any of the positions on the Committee please complete a nomination form and submit it to the PLEAWA Secretary before the AGM.
• Please ensure you read the nomination form and the related sections of the PLEAWA Constitution prior to your nomination.
• No late nominations will be accepted.
