Years 3-6 FBLEP Mapped to the Western Australian Curriculum
Michelle and I will now focus on an extensive review of the Year 3-6 online pre and post-visit student and teacher resources. The review and updating of these resources aims to better address Civics and Citizenship and particularly Civics and Citizenship curriculum items that teachers were finding challenging to address (Please contact me should you wish to flag curriculum items that you are finding challenging).
Year 3-6 Primary Teachers Civics and Citizenship Professional Learning Day
The Francis Burt Law Education Programme has developed Western Australian focused year 3-6 primary school programmes and resources to the Western Australian Civics and Citizenship Curriculum. This workshop aims to improve primary teachers’ understanding of essential legal principles, court personnel and the WA court hierarchy. Participants will observe a Magistrates Court in session.
